Hurghada History

Hurghada once was just a tinny fisherman village being 500km away from Cairo the capital , most of the residents live on small trade their catch of sea food with small houses still exist surrounded near the port.

Hurghada population was less than 1000 , most of the residents came from Upper Egypt to settle and work as fishermen.

Hurghada possesses an attractive white sandy beaches, coral reefs and moderate weather all  the year which make it one of the most attractive touristic places allover the globe.

Hotel History

In 1999 , an ambitious man decided to build the gem of hurghada , he found a strategic place 5 minutes away from the airport in the middle of the town and over 38000 sq.m. Hurghada SeaGull was built declaring the existence of this gem , and this ambitious man is the chairman of board of Hurghada SeaGull Co. for touristic projects , Colonel Mohammed Al-Modrek Ali Shalabi .
